Sussman made significant contributions to the VLSI Memos, many of the chapters in Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs reflect his thinking, and the design choices made on the Scheme Chips. He also co-authored a lesser known “sequel” to SICP; Software Design for Flexibility.
