====== The Design Procedure Language Manual (DPL) ======

The [[:category:software:dpl|Design Procedure Language]] (DPL) was the main component of [[:category:software:lispic|LISPIC]] the precursor to [[:category:software:symbolics:ns|NS]], the knowledge of which [[:category:people:chris_terman|Chris Terman]], [[:category:people:neil_mayle|Neil Mayle]] and [[:category:people:howie_strobe|Howie Strobe]] brought to [[:category:history:symbolics|Symbolics]].

DPL was also known as the "[[category:history:daedalus|Daedalus Project]]".

[[:category:people:gerald_j_sussman|Gerald J. Sussman]] includes the implementation of a superficial version in his book [[:category:literature:sicp|Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs]].
