====== NS (EDA Software) ====== NS was the Electronics Design Automation (EDA) software written by [[category:people:jim_cherry|Jim Cherry]], [[category:people:neil_mayle|Neil Mayle]], [[category:people:howie_strobe|Howie Strobe]], [[category:people:kalman_reti|Kalman Reti]], [[category:henry_minsky|Henry Minsky]], [[category:people:clark_m_baker|Clark Baker]] and [[category:people:neil_weste|Neil Weste]] for the [[category:history:symbolics|Symbolics]] [[category:hardware:lispm|Lisp Machines]]. While the software was originally developed and owned by Symbolics, [[category:people:chris_terman|Chris Terman]], [[category:people:doug_leonard|Doug Leonard]], Neil and [[category:people:bruce_davis|Bruce Davis]] founded [[category:history:tlw|TLW Inc.]] and later exchanged design work in the later years leading up to Symbolics' collapse for the rights to NS. [[category:people:david_tan|David Tan]] later re-implemented NS in it's entirety in [[category:software:programming_languages:common_lisp|Common Lisp]] while working for [[category:history:tlw|TLW Inc.]].
