Neil is globally renowned for his textbook [[:category:literature:cmos_vlsi_design|CMOS VLSI Design: A Circuits and Systems Perspective]] which he wrote during his time at [[:category:history:bell_labs|Bell Labs]]. He worked at [[:category:history:symbolics|Symbolics]] apart of the CAD team behind [[:category:software:symbolics:ns|NS]], eventually retaining ownership following the founding of [[:category:history:tlw|TLW Inc.]].
